Project details
Elite Composites have maintained a great working partnership SBFI since our  conception. Over the years we have handled GRP composite components for many different Items for all of SBFI's sectors, most notably our work for the redesigned Aviation control desks which were updated to house all the new technology needed for the industry.

The Air traffic control desks before the update where using old style glass (CRT) monitors as well as older internal systems. After the design process, the finished plans were sent to us to make them into a GRP product. Our skilled pattern makers created the initial prototype to create the moulds which would in turn be used for manufacturing all final products. This year long project resulted in many units being created for an influential British client, which were transported to SBFI to fit all the relevant technology.

Currently, Elite Composites is proud to be SBFI's only GRP manufacturer, and efficient at meeting manufacture rates and design changes for an international enterprise. Products manufactured for SBFI also include drawer fronts (numerous types), GRP casing, table edges and more. Due to the variety of projects, and the widespread nature of SBFI's distribution our GRP can be found internationally in airports, banks, and investment / trading companies all over the world.
